When you attempt a standard armbar from closed guard, you can enter the Corkscrew Armbar (also known as the belly-down armbar) when the opponent defends. If he defends by looking away so that your leg cannot pass over your head, enter the Corskscrew Armbar on the arm you were attacking. If he defends by using his free hand to prevent the passing of your leg over his head, enter the Corkscrew Armbar on the defending arm.
