When your opponent has mount, you can immediately begin escaping techniques based on where they are in the mount position. Use the elbow wedge to escape your knees, or lay your leg flat between their feet and push on their knees until you can capture their foot or slide out your leg. You can also work on escaping while defending their choke attempts.
